Course description
What students will do
This course builds a rigorous, exam-ready command of algebra-based physics, covering kinematics, dynamics, energy and momentum, rotational motion, and simple harmonic motion.
Because of the accelerated fall timeline, the course meets twice weekly to provide full exam preparation. Applied aerospace context helps students see how the physics they study appears in real systems while they develop the problem-solving and free-response skills the AP exam rewards.
Sessions balance conceptual discussion, hands-on problem solving, and exam-style practice, building physical intuition and technical precision for unfamiliar problems under exam conditions.
Who this is for
Students currently taking or preparing for AP Physics I who want a deeper conceptual foundation and stronger exam readiness.
