Course description

What students will do

This course develops a strong conceptual foundation across the major domains tested on the AP Psychology exam, including biological bases of behavior, cognition, development, personality, and social psychology.

Students slow down on commonly misunderstood ideas such as correlation versus causation, theory application, and how psychological concepts appear in real behavior. Instruction includes free-response writing, hands-on activities, discussion, and applied cases.

The course can complement current AP coursework or provide an overview before a student begins AP Psychology.

Who this is for

Students enrolled in AP Psychology or planning to take it who would benefit from deeper, discussion-based preparation.
